I should document 99% more of the cute conversations I have with my kids, but I don't. I have to share this one so I can save it for journaling purposes....and it's just cute.
Kara gets in the car at pick up time after kindergarten. Today she doesn't wait for me to ask how her day was. She blurts out "TODAY WAS THE BEST DAY EVER AT SCHOOL!" That was unusual. Especially since sometimes I have to beg just to get her to tell me classtime details. So, the conversation begins.
Me: Why was it such a good day?
Kara: Because my friend Sadie talked to all of our friends today and said that she is going to pretend to crash into Bryson tomorrow and kiss him!
Me: Oh, that's so silly, Im glad you don't want to do that. Kissing boys in kindergarten is yucky!
Kara: Ya, don't you think that is so funny mom? And the other girls are going to do it too.
Me: Thats silly if they want to do that. Did you do something fun in class today?
Kara: I can't wait until tomorrow, it's going to be soooo funny.
? ? ?
The smile and giggly look she had on her face the whole time we talked was the icing on the cake for this conversation. All I could ask myself was if I ever had that much "kiss talk" in kindergarten? Was this totally normal? I guess it went well, or never even happened, because I didn't hear a thing about it after that day.

I got my first kiss in 1st grade. I don't remember exactly how it happened, but I do remember it was very exciting for all my little girlfriends.
I was playing kissing tag in kindergarten but I don't think I actually kissed anyone, I think they think it is a good idea but don't go through with it so you should be ok. What a cute little girl!
How cute is that. The first kiss I ever remember was in high school, so not sure if kindergarten is normal for kissing. But heck why not? hehehe...you might have your hands full come high school.
