Ketchup? On What ? ! ? !

After reading many mother/child disasters on friends blogs, I know this is not the worst thing that could happen. But are you kidding me? An entire bottle of ketchup on the carpet! Now when I say entire bottle, I mean all but the small amount that was used previously for a few chicken nuggets at lunch. This was basically a brand new bottle. Why was the 2 yr. old running around the house with a bottle of ketchup? Um, lets just say some other people live here, and they used it and did not put it away (after using it in the family room which is probably against the rules). Now if you look at the pictures you are wondering, did it come out? IT DID. I have mastered most stain removal, but Im sure I don't do it the way a carpet guy would recommend. I got it out and that's all that matters right? The carpet is a little crunchy in that spot still, but the coloring is normal....nothing a good carpet shampoo can't change. Owen was proud of his ketchup art, in fact, he told on himself because he thought it was cool. I still love him, but I think he knows now that mommy doesn't ever want him to dump stuff on the carpet. I made that very clear. I think he tried to figure out why in the world I would take a picture of that naughty thing he'd done. I just wanted to capture the pride in his work, and he didn't forget to stick out his tongue.??
