Remember The Dark Crystal? I think you can tell why the subject came up. I used to be told as a child that I looked like a pixie or a gelfling. HUH? Was that suppose to be a compliment? Pixies and gelflings are cute right? I think I may understand where people were coming from. Devri sure fit that description after a haircut the other day. She had bangs cut, and as soon as we styled them I had to show her a "gelfling" picture. She has never seen the movie so she couldn't understand who I was describing. Separating her hair over her ears made it even more true to character. Her haircut really is cute, it doesn't end up shaped so gelfling when we do it up. I must say she is thrilled to be a look-a-like. She's begging me to be a Dark Crystal Gelfling for Halloween already (it will wear off). But with those big eyes and super soft cheeks, you should be proud!

She is a cutie!! I remember you always talking about that. I'm not sure I've ever seen a gelfing until now. I can't believe how big Devri is. Seems like she was just a baby. How time flies!
